I appreciate your taking the time to read this and hope you are doing quite well. I hope you have an outstanding Christmas!
I want to share what the Lord is doing with me now. In September, I went on a 3-week trip to Ohio with Impact World Tour. This is a ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) I got to help with sound and lead worship for the 3 teams that ministered. We saw 1,673 people respond to the gospel as well as many get healed. I loved the ministry and got to lead a young man to Jesus!!!  This experience gave me some real excitement and vision. I was so blessed by having my faith stirred up as well as helping the gospel go forth.
This led to me think about possible further involvement with YWAM. I spoke with a few people about YWAM’s Discipleship Training Schools. There are bases all over the world that help train and equip people to love Jesus and share that love with others. I have prayed about doing a DTS and am doing my best to trust God’s leadership each step of the way. I feel God’s leadership has pointed me to this.

Millions of people live their lives not knowing the love of Christ. Many Christians haven’t felt the presence of God in ages. I desire to bring the presence of God through prayer and music, thus changing hearts and lives. The DTS I have been moving towards is based at the largest YWAM base in Kona, HI. They have a DTS focus called “Fire and Fragrance” which emphasizes prayer, worship and intercession as the basis of evangelism.  I know God has gifted me to lead people into the presence of God and I want to get more training on how to grow my abilities and gifts.
The DTS is divided up into 2 phases. The first 12-weeks is the lecture phase.  Most of our days will consist of classes, a few hours in the prayer room, as well as different job assignments.  This costs $4,210. The 11-week outreach would consist of going out with a team to a country (has not been decided) and serving as well as actively using what we learned about evangelism and worship. This is estimated between $5,000-$6,000.  It starts on January 7, 2010 and ends June 20, 2010.
If you feel God moving you to partner with me, I would love for you to be on the team. If you can monetarily support that is great, but I really need a team of people that will pray, encourage and support me. I’d love to do the same for you!
